This product arrived looking like a used one. The outside cover was scratched. The finish is a too bright yellow gold. I'm returning this one.

I realize this pocketwatch was inexpensive but we were disappointed with it. When it arrived, the gold plating looked tarnished. The watch back had obviously been opened because it was put back on crooked. It was pictured with a nice, red, gift box. However, the gift box was for a wristwatch so the pocketwatch looked goofy in it.

Although it arrived fast, the watch didn't look very new to me. Its golden color was lost at some areas of the case making it not as shiny and good-looking as a gift.

The pocket watch is pretty nice, looks great but you can see it's not made to last, I expected the watch to be dark gold in a few years when the lacquer wears off, but it's only 40 bucks don't except too much, but most people at the party they don't know how much you pay anyway...

I dont know what the guy next to me is talking about it getting damaged but he must have bought it used.
