Amazon.com Product Description Featuring tough solar power, multi-band atomic timekeeping, and a digital compass, they don't call this watch the Pathfinder for nothing. This slim men's watch design from Casio features resin construction, including a 47.4-millimeter case and black band. The light green-gray dial has a digital time display and a day and date calendar. Powered by digital quartz, the Pathfinder is also water resistant to 330 feet.

Wrist band January 6, 2009 The Men's Pathfinder watch (#PAW1300-1V) for one month +/-The shipment was prompt, the box was adequate and the watch arrived functional. Watch setting directions were easy to follow providing the user reviews the directions frequently as they adjust the watch.
The watch band, is functional. The band's material & appearance and feels "cheap". The material is stiff and continues to be so even though the watch is removed twice (minimum) daily. Today January 6th I noted the battery charge dropped from high to medium the first time since purchase.
Casio could improve the band's material and appearance. I believe the watch will function as advertised. Check back in 90 days. [...]
Cool, not too chunky and simple to use compared to... December 24, 2008 ...my old Suunto. I dig this watch. The only thing is that the solar charge has not seemed to last that long. May be a bit premature for me to comment on this though. If I were wearing it with short sleeves and all the time, this would probably not be an issue and you'd probably see 5 stars. But even if the crystal display has gone blank, put it up to a light for 2 seconds and voila, back in biz. Also much cheaper through this seller than I saw, for instance, in a National Geographic catalogue. And cheaper than Suunto. I'd get it if I were you:-)
Review of Casio PAW1300-1V December 20, 2008 The watch is thin compared to the G-Shock Casio I've been wearing. The dial is easy to read, and the watch syncs without failure every night to the atomic time reference in Colorado. I live in a Calif mountain town. I found the temperature reading to be 10 to 20 F too high if the watch is on my wrist, but accurate to within a few degrees if it's off my wrist for half an hour. The compass is accurate for my purposes. I have found the display of barometric press vs time to be an accurate predictor of weather. I like the watch and wear it all the time, including for dress occasions.

I've been wearing this for more than a year, and it's been very good indeed. I'm an 'early adopter,' and a watch collector, and a professional evaluator; I have maybe 20 very good watches, all bought for performance breakthroughs (e.g., noctilux night lighting) NOT fashionista appeal. I'm not outside much, but the light cell on the Casio is always fully powered from sun through the windows plus artificial light. It's true that you need to keep the user's manual handy because you won't remember how to change the display for some of the exotic options, but this thing makes Rolexes etc. look like idiots' choices! A brilliant breakthrough in the long record of brilliant technology that is watch history.
Disappointed! December 9, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have this watch for a about 5 months. I really like Casio wathces. All my watches were Casio - since I was 12 year old boy. Unfortunately I am kind of disappointed with this one. The altimeter is absolutely unreliable. I am on 42nd floor but it says I am - (minus!!!) 75 feet under the sea level. Baro is so-so. Compass - with a few degrees margin - is it working?? Not for me. I am not even mentionig the cheap and soft plastic body of the watch. Every touch with a hard surface is a scratch. I would not recomend this product. Sadly, but true. The choice is yours.
