Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Product Description
Enjoy subtle and alluring color with these simple green amethyst gemstone earrings. The 8x5mm pear-shaped briolettes are threaded on long fishhook wires made from gold-dipped sterling silver, and they rest below the earlobe where they sparkle in the light. Their delicate pale leek green color is very distinctive and elegant. These comfortable earrings are easy to wear, and their versatile hue will complement plenty of outfits. Green amethyst is a unique green variety of quartz that's very durable, and ideal for everyday wear.

Customer Reviews:

2 out of 5 stars Just OK   November 10, 2008
These earrings were prety enough; but, they didn't dangle the way I wanted them to, the color was very pale and the earwires were flimsy. I returned them.

1 out of 5 stars save yourself a trouble returning this item   October 17, 2008
I wish reviews where in when I purchased it. I took a chance, and the actual product is much worse than the picture. As other reviewers said, the stone is almost clear, with a grayish tint to it. The earwire is thin, so it does make the earrings look cheap. The stone doesn't move freely on the wire, and often it gets stuck in weird angle. Overall the earrings are smallish but I wouldn't even recommend it as a gift for a little girl, since it doesn't come with a plastic stopper. I bought it on a special for 10 dollars, but even this is too much for them.

1 out of 5 stars Aweful! Going Back Pronto!   October 14, 2008
These earrings look hideous. Just as the other reviewer said, the amethysts are clear and look plastic. The hook is awkward and the whole earring looks cheap. My husband asked me if I got them free! I don't think I'd wear them even if they were free.

1 out of 5 stars Ugly earrings   October 10, 2008

These earrings are ugly. They look like a blob of clear glass with a piece of wire poked through. Not green at all. I realize they are inexpensive, but I've seen costume jewelry at Walmart not look as cheap.
