 Best bang for the buck! April 18, 2008
This is my second Movado and I absolutely love it. I received it in flawless condition and I had it resized at Helzberg Diamond at no cost. This looks like a $1500 watch at fractions of the cost. This is one of the few classy accessories that doesn't shrink your wallet.

This is my second Movado. I wore the first one every day for about 5 years. The battery leaked (my fault for not replacing it) and damaged the movement, hands, and face. It would have cost me $350 to fix. (A word of advise, replace the battery every 2 years, even if the watch is still running).
From the first to the last day, I was routinely asked about my watch. People, even those who are fashion-challenged, recognize the black face with the dot at 12.
I saw the Juro in Amazon and could no believe the price. I ordered it, and it arrived within 3 days. I like the size, bracelet, and face. Not too big, not little, not too dressy, not too casual, it is just right. With Movado, you make a statement.
The watch comes with all the original packaging, and manual. It is an original Movado. Since Amazon is not an authorize dealer, the factory warranty of 2 years is voided. However, Amazon warranties the watch for 2 years with a similar coverage to the manufacturer's.

First off, this is a very beautiful timepiece, even more so than the picture. It is relatively thin and, for the time that I have had it (appx 2 weeks) the actual time seems very accurate and doesnt really drift.
The reason that I gave this product 3 stars is due to the invisible clasp mechanism. It looks beautiful and makes the band look flawless but the locking isn't all that great. When I first got it, both ends would snap in fine for a great seal. After about a week, I noticed that either clasp would lock when placed first but, when the second clasp is pressed in, it doesn't snap in anymore. This is due to any minor misalignment that is causing the components to rub against one another when they are trying to make that invisible clasp and only one, not both, would snap into place. This caused the clasp that was not snapped in to come loose and have the watch dangle under normal wearing circumstances, sometimes spontaneously.
I have returned the product and ordered another in the hope that I received a fluke... again its a beautiful watch and I hope that my example is the exception as opposed to the norm.

I'm a 51 year old man and bought this for myself. It's beautiful and as a previous reviewer said it can be worn dressed up or with jeans. The face is not pretentiously large as many watches tend to be these days. I searched everywhere online and in stores and Amazon had by far the lowest price. Remember you will probably need to have it resized. I am 5'10" with average size wrists and I noticed when I got it resized at a jewelry shop ($15) they only took out two small links. So if you have very large wrists this band may be too small to begin with. Also Amazon is NOT an authorized Movado seller so you will get the 2 year Amazon guarantee which does not cover the band or crystal, just the inner workings against manufacturer defects. A nice watch for the price and so far I'm very satisified. Can't beat the price.
